Porsche by Design: Seducing Speed
North Carolina Museum of Art
Saturday/Sunday November 2-3, 2013
We are planning a weekend trip to Raleigh, NC for a special group tour of the Porsche exhibit. The museum is recruiting members of the local PCA Chapter as expert tour guides. On Saturday morning (November 2nd), we will caravan from Atlanta, with possible stops in Greenville, SC and Charlotte, NC to reconnoiter with locals who would like to join us. We will enjoy dinner as a group or explore Raleigh individually on Saturday evening. We will have a group brunch prior to our tour on Sunday at Noon. After the tour the caravan will head for home.
Please register below to express your interest in joining us for this event so that we can make the appropriate reservations for meals, hotel rooms and tour tickets. 10 attendees are required for the museum to provide us a private tour. Additional information regarding the hotel block and brunch will be available soon.
Porsche by Design: Seducing Speed marks the North Carolina Museum of Art’s first design exhibition, exploring the history and development of the Porsche lineage from the 1930s to the present day. Featuring more than 20 automobiles, Porsche by Design presents cars owned by Ralph Lauren, Steve McQueen, and Janis Joplin, as well as the one-of-a-kind Panamericana concept car on loan from the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart, Germany.
Registration for this event is now closed.
