What is a Teen Driving Clinic? A Teen Driving Clinic is a community service event hosted by the Audi Club of Georgia. Audi Club North America has a long tradition of running clinics throughout the country and our chapter finally has the resources to host one in the Atlanta area. Our clinics pick up where most 'drivers ed' programs leave off. The clinic is open to all licensed (or learners permit with adequate time behind the wheel) teens age 15 to 21. Membership (or relation to a member) is NOT required to participate. It is a combination of classroom instruction and driving exercises. Each student will be assigned an experienced instuctor who will work with them througout the day. The teens will use their own cars to improve their skills in the vehicle they routinely drive.
The teens will learn:
- Importance of vision
- Cornering - understeer and oversteer
- Braking
- Emergency lane change and object avoidance manuvers
- Proactive vs. reactive driving techniques
- Effects of weight transfer
- Driver courtesy
- Safe following distance
This clinic is a great way for any teen to improve their driving skills and confidence.
For our February clinic, we are looking to fill 32 student slots. The cost for the day will be $105. Please click here to enroll.
Students must be between the ages of 15 and 21 and posess a valid drivers license or learners permit.
