Quattro de Mayo 2012 is only 6 months away. So, request time off work and find a pet-sitter, because this is one event you won’t want to miss. We’ve already began planning for QDM 2012 and will be making some very exciting announcements in the coming weeks. We’ve got new routes, a new venue, new memorabilia and a new website for 2012.

Quattro de Mayo

So, for those of you who haven’t experienced Quattro de Mayo, it is a four day social driving event. During the day, we tackle some of the funnest roads in the country, with some of the greatest views. In the evenings, new friendships are formed as we exchange stories, win prizes and enjoy the scenery. Can’t make it all four days? No problem!

Sunday, October 30th, 2011

Save the Date!

The 2012 Frank Beddor Nationals will be held on July 4th – 8th in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The event will be a celebration of the 25th anniversary of Walter Röhrl’s victory at the Pikes Peak Hillclimb Race.

To commemorate this victory, ACNA members will be lining up at the starting line (of the 2012 Hillclimb Race) to watch as racers rev their engines, embracing the mighty challenge as they quest for victory, just as Walter Röhrl did 25 years ago. Planned activities include scenic drives, golf, member concourse, Thursday reception Friday Fan Fest, Saturday evening Banquet and the grand finale – the Pikes Peak race – on Sunday.

There’s much more to this event, however. The area is packed with many other attractions. Check out pages 40 and 41 of the Fall 2011 Quattro Quarterly for more information.

Another successful driving school at Road Atlanta!

Sunday, September 18th, 2011

The Audi Club of Georgia participated in the Peachtree BMWCCA Driving School at Road Atlanta last weekend. Thanks to our strategic partnership, our members are able to attend their events at BMWCCA pricing, and they even allocate special parking for the Audis. The weekend was a great deal of fun, the weather was perfect and we all learned a LOT! One of our members, Chris M came up to visit on Saturday and filmed a little bit of the action. Check it out!

If you’ve never been to a driving school before and are curious, we encourage you to come check them out. They are very structured events designed to improve your skills as a driver in a safe environment.
